Product Details: Pure hydrogen peroxide is a crystalline solid below 12' F and a colourless liquid with a bitter taste above 12'F. It is almost always used as an aqueous solution, which is available in dilute form (3% to 10%) for household use and in concentrated form (greater than 30%) for industrial use. Hydrogen peroxide is unstable and decomposes readily into oxygen and water with the release of heat. Commercial peroxide products usually contain a stabiliser (usually acetanilide) to slow the rate of spontaneous decomposition. Hydrogen peroxide is nonflammable, but it is a powerful oxidising agent that can cause spontaneous combustion when it comes into contact with organic material. Usage:
- Diluted H2O2 (between 3% and 8%) mixed with ammonium hydroxide is used to bleach human hair.Used
- in textiles as an alternative to chlorine-based bleaching due to its environment-friendly properties.
- It is also used to produce other peroxide-based bleaches like sodium parcarbonate.
- It is used in mining to treat plant effluent for cyanide removal with copper ions as the catalyst.
- It is used for cleaning well water or other drinking water sources by removing odors, organic materials that change the taste of the water, and iron.
- Bleaching pulp: it is used in the bleaching of wood pulp in the pulp and paper industry.
- Stain removal: Sodium perborate offers many of the functional benefits of liquid hydrogen peroxide in a stable solid form. The oxidative power of sodium perborate improves the cleaning, bleaching, stain removal, and deodorising performance of powder detergent formulations, all fabric dry bleaches, denture cleaners, automatic dishwasher detergents, and various institutional and industrial laundry products.

Sodium sulfate anhydrous, also known as thenardite, has the appearance of a white crystalline solid and is chemically very stable. It is unreactive toward most oxidising or reducing agents at normal temperatures. In addition to that, it can be converted to sodium sulphide at high temperatures by carbo-thermal reduction.
Usage:
Sodium sulfate is used as a "leveling" agent in the textile industry, where it reduces the negative charges on fibers.The major use of sodium sulphate is as a filler in powder products, for example in detergents.In the paper industries, sodium sulphate is used in the Kraft process of wood pulp.Another common use of sodium sulphate is in glass industries to prevent the formation of air bubbles in molten glass.Sodium sulfate is used as a drying agent in an organic solvent.It is also used in the de-frosting of windows, carpet fresheners, starch manufacture, and as an additive to cattle feed.
